Pro-Ject is in the groove of late with yet another turnable release. Drawing inspiration from its acrylic-framed models past, the new XA B is brought bang up to date thanks to the brand’s balanced ready approach.
Priced at £1,099, key features include a premium 10” aluminium tonearm with Cardan ultra-low friction 4 pinpoint tonearm bearing and pre-set Pick it Pro Balanced cartridge, married to a 5-pin DIN balanced output socket with Connect it Phono 5P RCA cable included.
Its inert transparent acrylic chassis supports a 1.7kg aluminium platter with TPE damping running on a stainless steel platter-bearing with soft brass bushing, made stable by TPE damped height adjustable metal feet.
