dCS Varese

New bar

With its new Varèse five-piece streaming DAC system, Cambridge-based dCS isn’t just pushing the digital envelope, it’s ripping it right open.

Billed as the finest digital front end dCS has ever produced, it consists of the Core streaming and processing unit, a pair of Mono DACs, an optional Master Clock and a separate User Interface unit.

Festooned with groundbreaking new technologies developed entirely in-house, the Differential Ring DAC is the biggest upgrade to dCS’s industry-leading Ring DAC architecture for a decade.

Other standout elements include; dCS Tomix, a patented new clocking technology; ACTUS – a bespoke interface that carries audio, control and timing signals and numerous circuit design and power supply innovations, alongside dCS’s new Mosaic ACTUS music management and control app.
