Get set for Celsus

AVID is heading to this weekend’s Hi-Fi Show Live in Ascot, Surrey (27-28 September) armed with a selection of its British-made turntables and integrated amplifiers.

And top of its showcase list will be the world debut of its updated Celsus preamp, ahead of its official launch later in the year. This revised model, which will be shown in pre-production form, incorporates a reengineered ALPS RK50 volume control which AVID has repurposed for remote operation.

A fully balanced, two-box preamplifier, the Celsus features a separate high-quality power supply and also integrates the brand’s Pulsare II phono stage alongside four line-level inputs.

AVID Relveo with PSU

AVID will be exhibiting in the YG Acoustics room with its UK distributor, CAS Audio, and in addition to the revised Celsus, the company will be showing the its Relveo turntable (above), alongside the Acutus Classic and Ingenium Plug&Play turntables. A selection of integrated amplifiers, including the Accent, Integra, and Sigsum, will also be available to showgoers.
