Scottish cable company Atlas has announced not one but five cable updates across three categories stemming analogue interconnects with a new and innovative topology, portable headphone cables, and a high-end power cable.

The Atlas Ailsa Duo is a new Aspire-level range of analogue interconnects available in Ultra L (Latik) RCA and OCC XLR versions. Debuting Atlas’s latest ‘Duo’ symmetrical topology, whereby hot and cold conductors are individually screened and twisted in a precision lay, with both screens drained directly to earth via a common Grun connection, its conductor is formed from a solid-core Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper with a wideband foamed polyethylene dielectric.
Standard lengths are 0.5m, 0.75m, 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m and 3.0m, priced from £1,510 to £2,210, with custom lengths on request.

Atlas Cables’ Hyper Duo XLR is the latest addition to the Aspire tier and also sports the brand’s Duo topology which each of its conductors using a precision woven OFC screen and a precision-lay twist to further improve EMI performance.
With set lengths the same as the Ailsa Duo, prices start at £755 for 0.5m through to £1,455 for a 3m length.

The Zeno Seraphic headphone cable boasts OCC conductors and FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) dielectric portable-friendly terminations including Metik 3.5mm TRS and balanced TRRS in 2.5, 3.5 and 4.4mm jacks with mono connections, MMCX connectors and 4-pin mini-XLRs at the headphone end.
Prices range from £395 to £445 with set lengths at 1m, 1.5m and 2m.

The Eos Superior 2.5em mains cable features ‘Ultra-pure’ 2.5mm² Independent OFC screening on hot and cold conductors, a precision-lay twist and wideband foamed polyethylene dielectric 4 with cold-welded airtight OFC pin connections and ual-drain termination.
Elsewhere its hand-stitched Titanium fabric finish comes with optional Luxe finishes (at additional cost). A range of connectors are offered including 13A (UK), Schuko and NEMA, with IEC C15 (10A) and C19 (16A) at the appliance end.
Standard prices are £1,510 for 1m, £1,580 for 1.5m, £1,650 for 2m and £1,790 for 3m.
