Some 30-odd years on from when the original Debut, well, debuted, Pro-Ject has introduced the new Debut Reference 10 as the latest pinnacle of the Debut line.
Coming fully loaded with upgrades from its sister Debut Carbon EVO and Debut EVO 2 models, new features include a heavy, resonance-resistant acrylic platter, upgraded diamond-cut aluminium sub-platter, height-adjustable damped feet and new 10” one-piece tonearm.

The arm, developed exclusively for the Reference 10, is longer than previous Debut arms in a bid to reduce tracking error and inner-groove distortion. Its sandwich construction is formed from carbon-fibre and aluminium for rigidity and damping, while offering azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustment.

And this being Pro-Ject it also comes comes factory-fitted with the brand’s Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge and True Balanced connection capable. This allows lower noise and improved signal integrity when paired with compatible balanced phono stages.
