Écoute’s TH1 Bluetooth valve based Headphones are coming to the UK, thanks to distributor Electromod.

Billed as a ‘wearable hifi system’, the Écoute TH1 incorporate a high-performance DAC, valve-based preamp and dual-mono amplification.

Alongside its non-conventional Nutube 6P1 triode, other specialist elements include technical architecture that’s distinct from most premium Bluetooth headphones thanks to discrete electronics and hi-res dual-core DAC, Class AB internal amps and firmware-level DSP tuning, letting you shape voicing an iOS/Android app.

Alongside Bluetooth 5.3 LDAC and AAC connectivity, listeners can also plug in via a digital USB-C socket for hi-res lossless audio up to 32-bit/384kHz, or via an analogue 3.5mm input.

A closed-back design, the TH1’s casework includes an aluminium body and armature, adjustable headband and replaceable fabric-covered over-ear memory foam earpads, with physical controls on their right earcup.
