Wiltshire based Dorpo has announced its new DMP-A1 digital music player
Billed as a high performance music streamer, digital audio player, DAC, pre and headphone amp, its design looks ideal to pair with active speakers, as a hi-end desktop system or as a digital hub in a larger separates rig.
Features include lossless playback up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM from FLAC, WAV and APE sources with MQA decoding, alongside DSD support up to 512 over DSF, DFF, SACD ISO and DST, served by its ESS ES9039S Pro chip and XMOS XU316 audio processor.
On the connections side it gets Bluetooth plus optical, coaxial, USB, Bluetooth and ARC, with analogue offered over RCA and XLR. And for headphone users there’s a choice of both 6.35mm and balanced 4.4mm sockets.
