Russ Andrews is introducing Kimber Kable’s NEO interconnects to the UK.
Building on everything that’s gone into Kimber’s 45 plus years of audio cable design, NEO is also the brand’s first all-new range of interconnects in over 20 years.
It’s also instantly recognisable as a Kimber product, thanks to its iconic braided geometry and lack of traditional shielding materials, highlighting lessons learnt by Ray Kimber when he discovered how woven connectors aid RFI noise rejection.

The dual-layer braided NEO boasts eight signal conductors – four solid-core and four multi-stranded – woven together and run through the centre of the cable, surrounded by a high-performance fabric braid. They’re then surrounded by a further eight multi-stranded, braided cables which act as the ground and passive shield. A second braided fabric jacket completes the cable, providing additional mechanical damping and a protective layer.
NEO is the first analogue interconnect cable from Kimber to feature both solid core and stranded wire, a technique previously seen in its flagship Select speaker cables.
Available in three variants as the NEO-AG, NEO-HB and NEO-CU, the flagship AG model sports all silver conductors, while the HB is a hybrid of silver signal conductors surrounded by stranded copper in for its ground and shield cables, with the CU being all copper based.

Available from Russ Andrews Accessories in a variety of lengths and with either locking WBT RCA plugs or balanced XLR connectors, each is covered by Russ Andrews’ 60-day money-back guarantee.
A 1m RCA or XLR terminated CU costs £5,400, while a 1m RCA or XLR terminated HB cost £11,180. The AG flagship raises the bar further with a 1m RCA or XLR terminated coming in at £17,760.
