Monitor Audio is proud to introduce its new Silver Series 8G loudspeakers.
Built upon the foundations of Monitor Audio’s ‘Transparent Design Philosophy’, the range sets its stall out as the most refined and technologically advanced Silver Series platform ever created.
Comprised of seven all-new models, designed to support both high-performance two-channel and fully immersive multi-channel systems, the Series also includes an ‘On-Wall’ model, intended for less-intrusive stereo and surround sound applications.
Tech improvements, over the previous generation include Monitor Audio’s proprietary metal cone driver C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) driver technology (with bolt-through bracing), enhanced with the latest generation of MA’s RST III (Rigid Surface Technology) for increased structural rigidity.
For high frequencies, the latest generation of the company’s iconic C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter has been optimised with a vented rear chamber, newly engineered shorting ring, and the latest UD Waveguide II.
Add to this new outrigger feet, a new crossover design and the brand’s ‘Silent Flow’ bass port technology (inspired by the interlocking wing feathers of an owl), with an enlarged diameter and flare geometry for a smoother airflow, and it’s clear that every detail has been considered.
The seven-model 8G range includes the Silver 500 (£2,650) and Silver 300 (£2,000) floorstanders, Silver 100 three-way standmount (£1,500), Silver 50 two-way bookshelf (£800), Silver On-Wall (£450), Silver Centre (£800), and Silver AMS (£900).
