Linn has announced is new 343 loudspeaker, the first to be designed around its revolutionary Pistonik drive unit technology from the outset.
Engineered as a reference model in a compact form, the 343 takes the Pistonik motor system that was first seen in the brand’s flagship 360 loudspeakers to a new level with its cabinet, down-firing bass architecture, drive unit behaviour and supporting electronics all being evolved together as a single holistic acoustic system.

This means a more capable 8″ (220mm) bass driver in a down-firing arrangement that’s positioned close to the floor, to deliver omni-directional bass energy readily and efficiently into the room.
This is joined by a 6″ (190mm) Pistonik upper bass driver, 64mm thin-ply woven carbon dome midrange unit and 19mm thin-ply woven carbon dome tweeter.

Other key features include Linn’s Power DAC technology, an all-new composite cabinet design and integrated passively cooled amp module that’s mechanically isolated on a three-point spring system.
Also on the spec sheet is 343 Array with Adaptive Bias Control amplification and Organik DACs for each channel, powered by Linn’s Utopik switch-mode power supply.

Available in Exakt Integrated (£65,000) and Passive with Active Bass (£45,000) variants in a range of luxurious finishes, visit linn.co.uk to find out more.
