Hi-res portable audio specialists Astell&Kern has joined forces with premium earphones designers Campfire Audio to launch a new in-ear monitor, the AK SOLARIS X.
AK SOLARIS X comes with a balanced 2.5mm pure silver litz cable. A 3.5mm adapter is also supplied.
Based on Campfire Audio’s Solaris 2020, the X model is designed and tuned especially for Astell&Kern.
Each individual earphone is manufactured to the highest quality standards and hand-assembled in Oregon, USA by skilled craftsmen at Campfire Audio’s HQ.
Their three driver array includes a custom-made balance armature (BA) driver working with its patented Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber (T.A.E.C.) and a 3D Printed Acoustic Chamber.
Priced at £1,499 RRP, the AK SOLARIS X is available in the UK exclusively in-store at Harrods and Selfridges from mid-July.

Astell&Kern is also introducing a new Urbanely Blue edition of the KANN ALPHA digital audio player (DAP), along with support for the multi-music platform, Roon.
