Hot on the heels of its recent Ultima Integrated amp release, Chord Electronics has launched its most affordable Ultima technology based stereo power amplifier yet.
The new BerTTi (with that double TT giving a nod to its inclusion in Chord’s table top range), joins the company’s Hugo TT 2 DAC preamp amp and Hugo M upscaler.
A fully balanced 75W stereo power amplifier, BerTTi is packed with the brand’s latest dual-feed-forward error-correction topology and acts as a direct replacement for the outgoing TToby model.
Alongside balanced and line-level inputs, BerTTi includes two modified power supplies plus an additional auxiliary power rail for the front end, providing extra voltage to drive its custom-made MOSFET transistors.
Housed in a precision-machined solid aircraft-grade aluminium case, BerTTi is available to pre-order now (expected September) costing £3,995 in jett black or argent silver finishes.
