Marantz is dipping its experienced toe into the wireless speaker market with two new luxurious models, the Horizon (£3,250) and its larger Grand Horizon (£5,250) sibling.
Features include the brand’s iconic circular porthole motif, reimagined as the core element of each speaker’s unique circular form.
The Horizon model offers 310W of Marantz’s Rise amplification (745W peak), based around highly responsive and thermally efficient GaN FET technology.
Sporting two 25mm tweeters, three 50mm full-range drivers and a 165mm subwoofer, its inputs include stereo RCA, optical, HDMI, eARC and USB-C plus HEOS Built-in offering streaming support over Bluetooth, AirPlay2, Spotify Connect and more.
The Grand Horizon model ups the game with 370W FTC amplification (860W peak) alongside a trio of 25mm tweeters, four 76mm full-range drivers and a 200mm subwoofer.
Offered in ‘Midnight Sky’, ‘Moon Ray’ and ‘Marantz Champagne’ finishes, with each complemented by a natural marble colour-matched base with an optional American walnut tripod floor stand (£650) or wall bracket, both speakers will be available from 14 January 2025.
