Wharfedale is continuing to expand its loudspeaker offerings with the launch of a new compact floorstander within is flagship Elysian range.
The Elysian 3 joins the Elysian 2 standmount speaker and larger Elysian 4 tower which are both three-way designs, sporting wide baffles and deep cabinets.
Sized at 105x26x29cm (HxWxD), the Elysian 3 is 11% shorter than its Elysian 4 big brother and a third less wide and deep, giving it a much more compact footprint.
The air moving hardware comes courtesy of a 27x90mm Air Motion Transformer (AMT) treble unit with an ultra-lightweight polyethylene terephthalate (PET) diaphragm, combined with a 150mm midrange driver and twin 180mm bass woofers formed from a woven glass fibre matrix.
