GIK Acoustics is releasing its new 11D one-dimensional quadratic diffuser, as part of its expanding diffuser product line. Based on its established Q7D design, the Q11D incorporates an 11-root well sequence to shift voicing higher in the midrange.
The new diffuser is slightly wider than the Q7D and features narrower wells, allowing the two models to be used together in modular arrays for broader coverage. Manufactured from CNC-cut wood laminates, the Q11D is available in multiple finishes (beech, walnut, black, white) and comes in both standard and ‘Demi’ (half height) sizes.
Recommended placement options include rear wall diffusion in mix, mastering or listening rooms, behind dipole or open-baffle speakers and across front walls or rear side walls of two-channel or surround systems plus live rooms for percussion and acoustic instrument tracking.
