Black Rhodium has unravelled its new dedicated Calypso loudspeaker cable, as part of its Calypso audio cables collection.
Designed to deliver the highest possible sound quality using principles from the brand’s Charleston loudspeaker model but at a more affordable price, Calypso loudspeaker cable is aimed at systems with loudspeakers priced between £1,500 and £2,500.
The cable uses high current conductor wires that are twisted together to reduce intermodulation distortion effects of high frequency noise. These are then shrouded in a braided screen to reduce distortion induced by high frequency noise and undesirable magnetic fields.
On top of this is a vibration damping braid, with gold plated ‘Z’ type loudspeaker connectors fitted as standard.
A 2m pair costs £650, while 3m comes in at £850 and 5m costs £1,100.
