English Electric, a sub brand of the Chord Company, has launched a big brother to its EE1 network noise isolator, titled the EE1 Plus.
Priced at £600, like its smaller EE1 sibling (which we reviewed in May ’24) it’s designed to sit discreetly between Ethernet cables feeding hi-fi streamers (see usage examples below), to eliminate network noise that’s generated by household devices.
It does this via passively converting unwanted noise into heat, ensuring the digital data quality remains unaffected.
Features include the original’s galvanic isolation and targeted common-mode filtering. The Plus model also gets Chord Company’s proprietary ARAY tech within upgraded casework, that’s milled from a single alloy block and sits on two decoupled feet.
Supplied with a free 0.75m C-Stream streaming cable for a limited time, visit Chord Company to find out more.
