Norwegian speaker specialist Arendal Sound has unveiled its new 1610 Series.

Boasting ‘real-world focus shapes’, the series is said to be designed around how systems are actually used, accounting for imperfect rooms, compromised placement, and everyday listening.

Positioned below the brand’s flagship 1528 Series, the 1610 range includes four models, all three-way designs and all available in Arendal Sound’s signature ‘basalt’ and ‘polar’ finishes.

Prices start from £1,800 with models spanning the Tower 8 floorstander, Bookshelf 8 compact model (for smaller and medium-sized rooms), Slim 8 slimline design (intended for on-wall or close-to-wall installation) and the Center 8 centre-channel model.

The 1610 Series shares notable DNA with its 1528 stable mates, including ‘RØST Essence’ architecture and time-aligned design for controlled dispersion through carefully shaped waveguides, while their cabinets are constructed from rigid HDF.
