Get ready for Roon

Roon’s Nucleus One and Nucleus Titan servers are headed for UK shores, with both billed by the brand as the only music servers built for Roon, by the Roon team.

Priced at just £599, the Nucleus One is the company’s most affordable dedicated Roon server offering a library capacity of up to 10,000 albums / 100,000 tracks. It also boasts multi-room Streaming in up to six zones simultaneously and DSP capability in the PCM domain.

Inside there’s space for 2.5” internal SSD or HDD SATA drives offering up to 8TB of storage, while connectivity includes two USB-A and one audio-only HDMI port.

Upping the ante at £3,899, the Nucleus Titan offers increased CPU efficiency and RAM speed over the old Nucleus Plus server with a fan-less thermal management system and high-efficiency CPU heatsink within its precision-machined billet aluminium enclosure, available in metal, stone composite (below), and wood finishes.
