Ahead of its 40th anniversary celebrations in 2025, The Chord Company has launched two new cables to celebrate the brand’s affordable philosophy, and echoing its 1985 origins.
The British-designed Leyline RCA and Leyline HDMI cables are priced at under £30 per 0.5m, aimed squarely at music and movie fans fans taking their first steps in to improving their AV performance.
Finished in sleek stealth grey, the Leyline RCA features gold-plated plugs for enhanced signal transfer, with compression-free over-moulded plug surrounds plus Polyethylene dielectric/insulation and high-density over-wrapped foil shield to minimise signal loss.
The Leyline HDMI boasts 48Gbps bandwidth, 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz resolution and Dynamic HDR with foam Polyethylene insulation, twin aluminium foil shielding, PVC outer jacket, and gold-plated connectors/pins.
The Leyline RCA costs £28.75 for 0.5m, £35 for 1m, £47.50 for 2m and £60 for 3m.
The Leyline HDMI costs £28.75 for 0.75m, £30 for 1m, £32.50 for 1.5m, £35 for 2m and £60 for 3m.
