Ruark is expanding its approach to accessible hifi with the launch of its R610 Music Console and Sabre-R bookshelf speakers, leaning into the music system approach of yesteryear that’s now ripe for the modern era.
Evoking the stereo music centres of the 1970s, the £1,200 R610 blends latest tech with retro charm, offering streaming support for Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple Airplay 2 and Google Cast.
With optical, ethernet and USB-C inputs supporting files up to 32-bit/384kHz, plus aptX HD Bluetooth, Internet, DAB and FM radio it’s do it all credentials are well backed up. Analogue fans having been forgotten either, thanks to a moving-magnet turntable input.
At £699, the Sabre-R two-way bookshelf speakers have been designed as ideal music making partners with 26mm silk dome tweeters and 15cm natural fibre cone woofer.
