Following its debut outing at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show, Rega has formally released its new AOS moving-coil preamplifier.
Described as a two stage all analogue amp, its all new internal circuitry is heavily based on that of Rega’s flagship Aura MC phonostage, which are protected thanks to the AOS’s all aluminium case, helping to shield it from RFI.

Other bespoke features include a self-adjusting servo control which compensates for any variations in ambient or operating temperature, parallel connected, low noise FETs (Field Effect Transistors) and an auto standby option.

Selectable settings span resistance loading from 70-400Ω and capacitance from 1000-4300pF, with 6dB of sensitivity adjustment.
