Russ Andrews has released a special edition version of its Kimber Kable PBJ interconnect.
The limited edition model takes the existing Kimber Kable PBJ interconnect and enhances it with WBT 0114 RCA connectors, in place of the standard Kimber UltraPlate variants.
These bring with them WBT’s clamping mechanism, which firmly grips the outer contact of the plug against the RCA socket. In addition, the central pin is slotted for a firm yet ‘elastic’ contact to ensure a reliable electrical connection.
Resplendent in a distinct Red/Black/Yellow colourway that’s woven especially for Russ Andrews, its tri-braid construction utilises three hyper-pure copper, VariStrand Kimber Kable conductors.
Each is individually insulated with an extruded fluorocarbon dielectric and braided together to reduce both airborne and internal Radio Frequency Interference (RFI).
The VariStrand concept uses seven individual strands of differing gauge cable for each conductor with each ‘favouring’ a different frequency range.
The PBJ LE costs £159 for a 0.5m length and £187 for 1m and is available for a limited period until 28 April 2025 via Russ’s website, covered by the standard Russ Andrews 60-day home trial and money back guarantee.
