But thankfully it does, as its new Preamp II-S reveals, being the first product in the brand’s all-new Series II range that sit between its Compact and HD models.
Key features include the return of Nagra’s Modulometer that’s directly inspired by the company’s IV-S reel-to-reel recorder, advanced vibration control derived from its Reference range via a phenolic damping layer under its aluminium top cover, HD tube technology and two gain stages.
