Wiltshire’s wire kings the Chord Company has upgraded two of its popular digital interconnects, with the company’s Tuned ARAY mechanical tech brought to its Clearway Digital Tuned ARAY and Shawline Digital Tuned ARAY cables.

The ARAY technology comes in three performance levels with ARAY, Tuned ARAY and Super ARAY, and these new cables have been upgraded from ARAY to Tuned ARAY.

Chord cables in blue sleeves

Handmade in the UK, Both the Clearway Digital Tuned ARAY and Shawline Digital Tuned ARAY interconnects feature high-quality 75 ohm silver-plated OFC conductors, and a PTFE dielectric with a high-density braid.

Further highlights include a damping dual-layer outer jacket, plus the company’s ChorAlloy-plated connectors. The Shawline Digital Tuned ARAY also benefits from additional shielding to its Tuned ARAY conductors.

Chord cables in red sleeves

The cables are covered by a lifetime warranty and are available with a range of terminations including RCA/BNC/Minijack (Clearway Digital Tuned ARAY) and RCA and BNC (Shawline Digital Tuned ARAY).

Lengths start at 0.5m and cost £115 for the Clearway Digital Tuned ARAY (£140 for 1m) and £230 for Shawline Digital Tuned ARAY (£280 for 1m).
