AudioQuest has introduced its latest ZERO-Tech speaker cable. Named Brave Heart for being bigger, quieter, and altogether better than any speaker cable AQ has offered at its price, it comes packed with the brand’s special tech.
Physically, Brave Heart is nearly the size of AudioQuest’s Mythical speaker cables at just 0.6mm smaller (OD). Internally, it has almost a third more of the same ‘Perfect-Surface Copper+’ conductor metal as used in previous models, while being more physically manageable thanks to it housing positive and negative sides in separate round constructions.
More metal also means that variation in speaker impedance values across the frequency spectrum has less effect on frequency response, says AudioQuest.
Also on the spec sheet is upgraded polypropylene insulation, with conductors spaced farther apart and thicker layers of Carbon-Loaded PVC, newly added Graphene, plus 4% silver shield drain wires for RF-noise dissipation with AudioQuest’s 72v Dielectric-Bias System also on the menu.
Brave Heart ZERO-Tech Speaker Cable costs £4,249 for a 2.5m pair and £4,799 for a 3m pair with other lengths available to order, with a choice of banana or spade type connectors on either end.
