German manufacturer Seismion which specialises in advanced mechatronic systems and vibration technology, is sending its wares to the UK, thanks to an exclusive distribution agreement with hifidoctor.co.uk, a new distributor with five decades of experience in the AV industry.
Seismion’s products include the Reactio 2 which uses highly sensitive piezoelectric sensors that detect even the most minute vibrations. An all-analogue electronic control circuit then generates precise counter forces, minimising distortions and noise.
The Reactio 2 can be used for individual components, including turntables and valve amplifiers alongside loudspeakers and entire systems (up to 65kg all in). For heavier components and systems, Seismion offers the Reactio 2 XL, that’s rated up to 150kg.
Equipped with multiple deflection sensors and motors, the Reactio 2 incorporates automatic levelling functionality, ensuring the top-plate remains perfectly aligned with a repeatability of 25 µm.
A push-button mechanism enables a locking functionality for the top-plate to be secured against the housing to eliminate passive isolation while facilitating stable setup of sensitive equipment such as turntables.
Each isolator is hand-finished in Hannover, Germany with the Reactio 2 priced at £10,250 and the Reactio 2 XL at £12,750 with customised colours and finishes available on request.
