And marking its return, there’s two new mouthwatering models to get excited about. At £5,400 the Classic 25 40th Anniversary Ltd Edition floorstanding loudspeaker is a reimagining of the original.
Refinements include aluminium trusses instead of a base plate, a reference Line HHCT III tweeter with closed tweeter chamber, optimised crossover, Vibration Control Terminal (VCT) with ‘Structure-Borne Sound Damper’ (VCT) and a base tray with ceramic foam.
And at the other end of the price scale, the Cardeas flagship costs a cool £36,995 and boasts twin 11″ bass drivers, twin 7″ mid-bass drivers a 5.9″ midrange unit and 1.5″ tweeter, making it quite some speaker on paper alone.
