Focal erupts

Marking the next evolution of Focal & Naim’s iconic Mu-so range, French audio specialist Focal is turning up the volume on home entertainment with its Mu-so Hekla, a sleek all-in-one sound system combining Focal’s acoustic loudspeaker experience with Naim Audio’s electronic precision.

Priced at £3,300 and titled after Iceland’s iconic volcano, Mu-so Hekla flows with Dolby Atmos sound and power, with 660W on tap.

Unlike a traditional soundbar, Mu-so Hekla presents itself as a complete 7.1.2-channel system in a single enclosure.

Its array of self powered woofers, midranges, tweeters and full-range drivers span a 30Hz–20kHz frequency range, with the brand’s ADAPT technology built in.

Other features include HDMI eARC and optical inputs for home cinema connectivity, control via Focal & Naim’s app plus smartwatches and voice assistants.
