iFi Audio has unveiled its next generation ultra-portable USB DAC, that’s designed to go beyond the ‘good enough’ DACs built into smartphones and laptops, transforming them into hi-res music players at a stroke.

And it does this by unlocking up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD256 music data from any USB source.

Claimed to be the brand’s smallest DAC to date (at 8% smaller and 29% lighter than the original GO link), it still manages to host an ESS Sabre DAC with Dynamic Range Enhancement boasting up to 62% lower distortion compared to the previous model.

Connections have also been refined to, thanks to an S-Balanced 3.5mm output that reduces crosstalk by up to 50%.

It’s also the first GO link model to be compatible with the iFi Nexis app (Android), enabling OTA updates and selectable digital filters.
