Cambridge Audio has announced its CX Black models, comprised of the new CXN100 SE music streamer (£899), CXA81 Mk II integrated amp (£999) and existing CXC transport (£499).
All resplendent in a refined matt black paint job, the CXN100 SE also comes in the brand’s signature ‘Lunar Grey’ finish.
The CXN100 SE build’s on the brand’s existing CXN100 music streamer by adding HDMI eARC, while the CXA81 MkII gets a striking new look and delivers the same 80W per channel as the current model.
Features carried over for the CXN100 SE include streaming support for Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer and Internet Radio, alongside AirPlay 2, Google Cast and Bluetooth support. It’s also Roon Ready.
Connectivity wise, the CXN100 SE is just as well served with S/PDIF (optical and coaxial) digital inputs and outputs plus balanced and single-ended outs on the analogue side.
