Pro-Ject Audio Systems has unveiled the A1.2, its latest fully automatic turntable within its Automat range, replacing the original A1.
Upgrades include a new die-cast aluminium platter, replacing the A1’s stamped version, and a new 8.3” ultra-light aluminium tonearm with redesigned headshell made from carbon fibre-reinforced polymer.
Its belt-drive system is also new and other features include a built-in, switchable phono stage, gold-plated RCA cable connectors and pre-adjusted Ortofon Pick it MM E cartridge.
