This week has welcomed a flurry of new products from Philips, spread across its AVA and Century ranges.
Staring with the latter and with its name celebrating 100 years in the audio game, new kit includes two turntable based all-in-one systems, a new DAB/FM portable radio and two new headphone models, all due in September and with names that go beyond the usual numbers and digits.
Billed as the world’s most powerful all-in-one integrated turntable system (120W RMS), with an onboard DAB+/FM tuner plus USB and Bluetooth connectivity, The Tina (Philips V9000) is the flagship model thanks to two full range speakers plus a dedicated 4” bass reflex subwoofer. Below this sits The Stevie (Philips V3000) which hosts an Audio-Technica moving-magnet cartridge and two two full range, bass reflex speakers.
The Janet (Philips V2000) is a Portable Radio with DAB+/FM, while The Freddie (Philips SHP9500CY) is a retro styled, open backed, over-ear wired headphone. Last but not least is The Ringo (Philips H2000) a retro styled, compact & light weight on-ear headphone (above).
Philips 2025 AVA range includes the lightweight H8000E mid-range, over-ear, wireless ANC headphone plus three new wired and wireless models aimed at kids with volume level limiting in the guise of the K2000, K4200 (launched in April) and the K5500 (launched in July).

The Four model mini hifi range includes the M3205M2 and M3505M2 (both launched next month) and the M4205M2 and M4505M2 (both launched in September).
Elsewhere the new Z5000 and Z6000 portable CD sound systems are launched in February.
