Fyne Audio has announced the F55E, as the most affordable IsoFlare floorstanding loudspeaker in its arsenal.
Designed to combine point-source precision sound with floorstanding-scale bass, the F55E blends the brand’s latest tech. This means a proprietary IsoFlare driver in a 5″ iteration, with a multi-fibre paper midrange cone, distinctive FyneFlute surround and titanium dome compression tweeter.
On low frequency duties beats a matching 5″ BassTrax driver employing Fyne’s Tractrix diffuser system with a floor-firing port that uses a conical diffuser, to expand its bass energy evenly in all directions.
As with the rest of the F500E Series, the F55E’s cabinet is constructed from high-density MDF with internal bracing and acoustic damping to reduce colouration and cabinet talk.
