Turntable specialists Vertere Acoustics has unveiled its new Imperium Motor Drive unit. Built to partner its SG-1 and RG-1 record players, it slots in between the brand’s more affordable Tempo and flagship Reference MD units.
The Imperium’s design derives from Vertere’s Reference Motor Drive but with a simplified power supply and control functions.
Precision milled from solid aluminium with a twin-regulated linear power supply feeding the primary circuit, the Imperium houses a gold-plated two-layer PCB with a fully upgradeable microprocessor.
