Ingenium goes SE

Teased at this year’s Audio Show Deluxe, AVID has officially unveiled its updated Ingenium turntable.

Titled the Ingenium SE, it continues the easy to use approach of its Ingenium Plug&Play predecessor, sporting the brand’s TA-3 tonearm (with increased structural rigidity and upgraded cabling).

Improvements to the deck include a newly developed, custom-designed drive motor, derived from the brand’s Relveo, that’s partnered with a dedicated external power supply.

Optional upgrades are also part of the package, meaning owners can tailor an Ingenium SE to their liking and wallet.

In standard guise with MDF platter the Ingenium SE costs £2,595, while £2,995 gets you the metal platter’d version. At £4,295 you can opt for an upgraded DSP governed PSU variant.
