Following the rebirth of its 33 preamp and with styling inspired by the original 22 preamp, QUAD is introducing its new 3 integrated amplifier.
Blending a large dose of classic QUAD DNA with a generous portion of cutting-edge tech, its features include Tilt tone control and digital inputs spread across USB, HDMI ARC and Bluetooth (catering for data up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512) alongside analogue inputs, including for a moving-magnet equipped phono stage plus 6.35mm headphone socket and remote control.
Housed in a 30cm wide chassis, the QUAD 3 claims 65W per channel of Class AB power into 8 ohms, rising to 100W into 4 ohms and comes with a £1,249 price tag.
