QUAD has announced what it says is its finest-ever integrated amplifier.
Five years in the making, the Platina Integrated is the first in what is QUAD’s new flagship Platina product range.

Boasting 200W per stereo channel into 8 ohms, its dual mono circuit is packed with custom components, catering for both analogue and digital inputs.

For the former both single-ended and balanced are on offer, plus an ultra-low-noise moving-magnet/moving-coil phono stage with adjustable gain. While on the digital side its six inputs include USB-C and HDMI ARC, all fed through a 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 DAC, boasting digital upsampling and a range of filter options.

Also on the Platina Series menu is an accompanying network player, the Platina Stream, with the dedicated Platina CDT (CD transport) set to follow next year.
Priced at £3,499 for the Platina Integrated, visit QUAD to find out more.
