British audio specialist, Q Acoustics is introducing a new trio of active infinite baffle subwoofers.
Titled the Q SUB series, models consist of the Q SUB80 with 8-inch driver, the 10-inch Q SUB100 and the 12-inch Q SUB120 variant.
Features include on-board Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with automatic gain, dual phase and delay controls, a low pass filter, custom-designed amplifier module with four digital power amplifier stages and internal ‘Dart’ bracing.
Their drive units all get a heavy-duty steel chassis, paper cone, and rubber surround with 38mm voice coils for the SUB80/100 models and a 50mm variant for the SUB120, with an aluminium demodulation ring for reduced inductance/modulation distortion.
Available in satin black with black grille or satin white with a grey grille finishes, prices are £599 for the SUB80, £699 for the SUB100 and £799 for the SUB120.
