Summer Solstice

French loudspeaker specialist, Triangle, is introducing its new Solstice speaker series.

Designed to succeed its long-running Esprit range, each speaker is designed and manufactured in Soissons on a new technical platform. This means a new horn tweeter, new driver architecture, revised cabinet construction and an original integrated base design.

The Solstice range launches with three models, designed to work together in stereo and home cinema systems, sharing common drivers, crossover principles and cabinet architecture. White, black, teak and birch finishes are available, along with matching stands.

Triangle Solstice 8

The Solstice 8 at £1,999 is a three-way bass-reflex floorstander, featuring a 25mm horn tweeter, 16cm cellulose midrange driver and twin 16cm concave-cone woofers.

Next us comes the Solstice 3 at £999, a two-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker sporting the same 25mm tweeter and 16cm cellulose driver for mid/bass duties.

And for home cinema fans, there’s the £579 Solstice C3 two-way sealed centre-channel speaker, again boasting a 25mm tweeter and twin 16cm midrange units.
