Austrian Audio has unveilved its latest over-ear headphone.
Titled the Arranger, it’s an open-back design aimed at home listening to bridge the gap between the company’s Hi-X series and its flagship Composer reference.
Priced at £899, the Arranger combines a newly developed in-house 44mm dynamic driver with diamond-like carbon (DLC) coated diaphragm for rigidity and control, paired with a proprietary ring magnet system.

Elsewhere soft suede leatherette ear pads and a lightweight metal frame with robust metal hinges are there for longterm comfort and lasting quality, weighing in at 310g.
All key wear components are user-replaceable to extend the headphone’s life. Connectivity is via a 4-pin symmetrical socket, supporting the supplied TRS cable as well as optional balanced cables, including 4.4mm Pentaconn and 5-pin XLR connections.
