Tannoy has declared its intentions for High End 2026 in Vienna, with a tantalising list of limited-edition loudspeakers, alongside the return of iconic models, to mark its centenary year.
With celebrations set to span three-years, the first new models will officially launch in the coming months, kicking off with variants based on the Prestige Gold Reference Series featuring enhanced crossovers and improved internal cabling.
Availability will be limited to just 19 pairs of the upgraded flagship Westminster Royal GR and 26 pairs of the finessed sub-flagship Canterbury GR (with numbers chosen to form 1926, the year Tannoy was founded in South London) with more models to follow.
And if you’re heading to Vienna, Tannoy’s UK team will be on hand at Hall X2, E06 and at the nearby Tech Gate demonstration to tell you all about what’s coming.
But that’s not all, as showgoers will also get to experience the Westminster Royal GR in all of its horn-loaded 15″ dual concentric glory.
