Wireless mission

Mission speakers has joined forces with digital experts Audiolab to create a compact music system with wireless speaker connectivity, all for under a grand.

The Mission LX Connect includes a pair Mission’s recently launched LX-2 MkII loudspeakers with a central Hub to control and supply the music, uncompressed over wifi.

Mission LX Connect

The LX Connect’s speakers come in a choice of soft-touch matt black or white, while the Hub is only available in black

With no joining speaker cables needed (just mains), the system aims to give users more versatility for easy set up.

The Hub comes Roon ready and the tech spec includes digital inputs for USB, HDMI, S/PDIF (coaxial and optical) plus aptX HD Bluetooth, all handled by a ES9018K2M DAC chip from the Sabre32 Reference family. There’s also a 6.35 headphone socket and a pair of line-level analogue inputs to hook up extra separates.

Price is £999, find out more on Mission’s website.
