Say hello to McIntosh’s new MSA5500 music streamer, which combines a full-featured network player and integrated amplifier in a single unit.
With support for streaming platforms including Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready and TIDAL Connect (including HiFi Lossless) the MSA5500 also offers ample physical inputs, including balanced, a phono stage and HDMI ARC.
Power is rated at 100W into 8 ohms (160W into 4 ohms) helped by the brand’s Power Guard tech. There’s also a built-in Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD) amp for serving sounds to quality cans.
