iFi Audio has announced what it says are its most compact and portable lossless Bluetooth audio transmitters yet.
Arriving in time for the new iPhone launch, the new UP Play and UP Play Max are made to upgrade the audio capabilities of connected devices and feature a range of codecs made to enhance music, gaming and calls.
While both can also be used to enhance the audio of an Android device, their target market is clearly iOS devices where the UP Play claims to triple the level of detail in audio sent from Apple devices by services such as Apple Music, Spotify Lossless, Qobuz, and others.
The UP Play Max goes one step further by quadrupling it.
Other features include aptX Lossless and Auracast compatibility, dual headphone pairing and Low-Latency mode.
