California’s JBL has introduced the 4305P, the first powered product in the brand’s consumer Studio Monitor loudspeaker range.
This active bookshelf sized system boasts a claimed 300Wrms power output with a built in 24-bit/192kHz DAC and six inputs for digital and analog audio sources.
Additional features include a selectable bass contour control and a signal-sensing line-level subwoofer output. Its streaming engine provides both wired and wireless network audio capabilities via Ethernet, Google Chromecast Built-in, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth audio. It’s also certified Roon Ready and can hand MQA audio files.
The system employs a primary and secondary loudspeaker with selectable L/R assignment plus front panel controls for audio and input selection.
