Q Acoustics M40

Tiny towers

British speaker specialist Q Acoustics has introduced its latest active model. Standing at just 71cm tall, the new M40 micro-tower is an all active wireless audio system that builds on the success of its M20 HD wireless sibling.

Key features include 100 watts of built-in Class D amplification within each speaker and hi-res wireless streaming via Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD compatibility.

Hardwire inputs include optical and USB alongside analogue RCA and auxilery, allowing for external connection to a TV, turntable (with a built-in preamp), games console, set-top box, CD player, network streamer and more.

Q Acoustics M40 rear panel

The M40’s instantly recognisable curved cabinet is right on brand and hosts twin 5″ (125mm) C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass drivers, alongside a 22mm tweeter, within a two-way rear ported reflex configuration.

Available in black, white and walnut finishes and priced at £749 per pair, find out more at Q Acoustics.
