Kilmarnock’s Atlas Cables has revamped its entry level Element cable range.
Out go the old models to be replaced by the new line-up spanning speaker cables (R1, Bi-Wire R1 and Screened R1), analogue cables (RCA R1, Sub R1 and XLR R1) and dedicated analogue RCA TT R1 tonearm cable.
On the digital side S/PDIF offerings are covered for both BNC and RCA connections.
The new models represents a simplified range with consolidated models and lower prices, as illustrated in the table below:
For the Element Speaker R1 this means a 3.2mm oxygen free copper conductor, cross linked polyethylene dielectric, ‘Z’ or ‘S’ type ‘Achromatic’ connector, and hand assembled crimped connection, while the screened variant gains the brand’s ‘dual-drain’ tech.
