Meze Audio has introduced the second generation of its Liric closed-back cans with a raft of enhancements, in a striking  new striped ebony wood finish.

The upgrades included a new Quarter Wavelength Resonator Mask (QWRM) precision-crafted metal plate that’s designed to strategically cover openings in the driver frame, to help attenuate high-frequency peaks for a smoother sound.

At their core beats Meze’s trademark Isodynamic Hybrid Array based on planar magnetic driver technology that’s developed by Rinaro, which has been scaled down for everyday use, while being closer in performance to the more costly Empyrean and Elite models.
