Ruark has unveiled the third generation of its acclaimed MR1 Bluetooth desktop speaker system.

With almost every aspect revised over its predecessor, key features include enhanced USB audio and Bluetooth capabilities, television audio and hi-res playback from a computer, plus an internal moving-magnet phono stage.

Each speaker’s handcrafted wood cabinet sports a larger enclosure to accommodate Ruark’s new 85mm NS+ bass/mid units and 2x25W Class D amp.

Available in rich walnut or charcoal lacquer finishes, both with contrasting new ‘slate’ grey fabric grilles, the MR1 Mk3 system costs £399.
